Council on Aging is a non-profit organization providing services to seniors of Volusia County, Florida. The Council on Aging has been helping seniors deal with changes since 1967 and acts as a "gatekeeper" of most elder services in the surrounding communities.
Connecting seniors and their caregivers to the services they need.

. . . But worthwhile. We strive to serve the diverse needs of seniors, and improve their quality of life in meaningful ways. We offer a variety of programs that promote independence. Whether you are a senior, caregiver, family or friend let us be your guide to local services and resources by helping to provide a continuum of care for you or your loved ones.

All services are available through private pay. Government subsidized programs have specific health or income qualifications and are subject to funding limitations.

Council on Aging of Volusia County is a private not-for-profit agency partially funded by the State of Florida Department of Elder Affairs with funds provided by the Community Care for the Elderly and the Older American's Act being administered by the Area Agency on Aging; ElderSource, the State of Florida Department of Children & Families, and some support from the United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties  and the County of Volusia. Council on Aging of Volusia County is a Registered 501 (c)(3) Corporation.
