Council on Aging is a private not-for-profit organization providing services to seniors of Volusia County, Florida. The Council on Aging has been helping seniors deal with changes since 1967 and acts as a "gatekeeper" of most elder services in the surrounding communities.

All services are available through private pay. Government subsidized programs have specific health or income qualifications and are subject to funding limitations.

Council on Aging of Volusia County is a private not-for-profit agency partially funded by the State of Florida Department of Elder Affairs with funds provided by the Community Care for the Elderly and the Older American's Act being administered by the Area Agency on Aging; ElderSource, the State of Florida Department of Children & Families, and some support from the United Way of Volusia-Flagler Counties  and the County of Volusia. Council on Aging of Volusia County is a Registered 501 (c)(3) Corporation.
