Council on Aging is a non-profit organization providing services to seniors of Volusia County, Florida. The Council on Aging
has been helping seniors deal with changes since 1967 and acts as a "gatekeeper" of most elder services in the surrounding communities.

. . . But worthwhile. We strive to serve the diverse needs of seniors, and improve their quality of life in meaningful ways. We offer
a variety of programs that promote independence. Whether you are a senior, caregiver, family or friend let us be your guide to local
services and resources by helping to provide a continuum of care for you or your loved ones.
All services are available through private
pay. Government subsidized programs have specific health or income qualifications and are subject to funding limitations.

While nutrition is the primary goal of this program, seniors also benefit from the social and recreational opportunities at eight sites located throughout the county.
Provides homemaking, shopping and personal care
Provides relief for caregivers in the home, adult day care centers and through the COA Respite Program.
