Living Gifts Foundation

The Living Gifts Foundation gives individuals an opportunity to create a lasting memory for a loved one who has died by making a contribution that will go to support elder services which could not otherwise be provided for lack of funds.

Consider the following ways to leave a legacy in memory of a loved one or special friend.

A gift included in your will or living trust can establish a lasting legacy.

A gift of excess retirement funds, such as pension plans or Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs), may allow you to give more, while eliminating taxes that may otherwise largely deplete these assets. Contact  Living Gifts Foundation to find out how.

Gifts of life insurance that has fulfilled its original purpose may offer excellent tax benefits. Policies that you purchased to protect a loved one who no longer needs that protection can be an excellent way to make a gift in honor of that person.

All gifts of any size are sincerely appreciated, and gifts of $500 or more receive a leaf on our Living Gifts Foundation’s "Giving Tree" located in our lobby.

We hope you will think of our foundation as an opportunity to serve others through a lasting gift.

Gifts to the Council on Aging or the Living Gifts Foundation are tax-deductible. Contact the COA office and a representative will be happy to assist you with your donation or answer any questions you may have.
