Council on Aging One Hundred Dollar Club
A measure of a society is in how we care for our most vulnerable, such as the frail elderly. The Council on Aging, which serves this segment of our community, needs your support more than ever!
With the current economic landscape in view we need you. Our motivation is to invite you into our “$100 Club”. A donation of $100 can then be used to draw down $500 in “grant match” funds from State and Federal programs making your donation grow to $600, the magic “power of a dollar”.
As an example of our services, if you were to ride along on a Meals on Wheels route your heart would melt. These older people just want what you and I want, to stay in our own homes holding fast to as much independence as possible. When your $100 becomes $600, you will be providing a hot meal and a wellness visit to a homebound senior for half of a year…with many of you joining in; we can make this very basic “magic” continue to happen.
